Award Winning Park


The award winning Bentley Park Sports Complex in Bixby is one of the best youth parks in Oklahoma. The park was recently recognized for the “Top Design in the State” by the Oklahoma Recreation Sports Society. The park’s splash pad was awarded “2011 Dream Designs Spray Park and Power Play” by Aquatics International.


Origin of Park


The people of Bixby overwhelmingly passed bond issues to finance the construction of Bentley Park in April of 2006 and 2010. Work is underway to complete construction of Phase III of Bentley Park. The park currently consists of 114 acres.

  • Fourteen youth soccer fields
  • Horseshoe pits
  • International soccer field
  • Multi-purpose building
  • Practice fields
  • Super playground / splash pad
  • Two quads of baseball
  • Two quads of softball
  • Walking trails connecting to the regional walking trail by the Arkansas River

Reservations


Reservations are not accepted for the splash pad or picnic pavilions within Bentley Park. These areas are designed to be used on a first come basis. Cooking / grilling is not allowed on the grounds of Bentley Park to include the playground area.


In addition to the support of our residents, community businesses along with civic organizations came together to show support for the Bentley Park Sports Complex through sponsoring various venues within the park: Bentley Park’s Major Venue Sponsors (PDF). The sponsorship dollars will be used in the park for capital improvements.

Driving Directions


Directions from Highway 169 or Creek Turnpike:

  • Memorial Drive / Highway 64
  • Travel south on Memorial Drive / Highway 64
  • Turn left (east) on East 148th Street South

Directions from Highway 75:

  • Exit Bixby / Highway 67 and travel east
  • Turn left (north) on Memorial Drive / Highway 64
  • Turn right (east) onto East 148th Street South
