City of Bixby to Offer Free Landfill Days

The City of Bixby will offer Free landfill days at the Quarry Landfill, 13720 E 46th St North, Tulsa, 74116, to Bixby residents Friday, September 25th from 6am to 5:30pm and Saturday, September 26th from 7am to 1pm.

Requirements

Participants must show a City of Bixby utility bill or driver’s license with an address within the Bixby City limits in order to be admitted to the landfill.

Acceptable Materials

  • Non-Hazardous
  • Asbestos-Friable
  • Asbestos-Non-Friable
  • Auto Shredder Fluff
  • CERCLA Waste
  • Construction & Demolition Debris
  • Drum Management-Liquids
  • Drum Management-Solids
  • E&P Wastes
  • Industrial & Special Waste
  • Liquifix (Solidification Services)
  • Municipal Solid Waste
  • Tires
    • There is a two ($2) fee for each discarded tire to cover state fees for disposal and recycling of tires.
  • Yard Waste

Unacceptable Materials

This facility does not accept hazardous waste. No items containing Freon refrigerant will be accepted (air conditioners and refrigerators).

Notice

Loads in truck and trailers should be secure and covered to prevent contents from blowing out onto roadways and creating traffic hazards.
