Bixby Recycling Center

The Bixby Recycling Center was opened in September 1993 by the Metropolitan Environmental Trust and operated by the ResCare through the Equuus Workforce Solutions

2019 Recycling Impact Report

  • 51,953 pounds of glass
  • 96,270 pounds of paper products (newspaper, office paper, and cardboard)
  • 20,238 pounds of plastic products (High-density polyethylene, Polyethylene terephthalate, and plastic bags) 
  • 10,752 pounds of metal (aluminum cans and steel vegetable cans)
  • 1,090 pounds of batteries (car and household)
  • 100 gallons of cooking oil
  • 1,350 gallons of used motor oil

Bixby, OK 74008
In the North parking lot of the Bixby Community Center. Two blocks east and one block south of 151st & Memorial. 

Hours

  • Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
