City Clerk

The City Clerk performs a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential administrative duties that require a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents in City Government.


  • Attend all Bixby City Council and Trust Authority meetings.
  • Record, transcribe and prepare the official City Council and Trust Authority meeting minutes.
  • Archive in record books all original ordinances and resolutions passed by the governing body.
  • Maintain official documents, including city contracts, deeds, and easements.
  • Attest and affix the seal of the City to all documents as required by law or by ordinance.
  • Issue business licenses and registrations as required by ordinance.
  • Process open records requests.
  • Keep the original seal of the City of Bixby.
  • Receive all lawsuits and tort claims.
