The City Clerk performs a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential administrative duties that require a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents in City Government.
Responsibilities
Attend all Bixby City Council and Trust Authority meetings.
Record, transcribe and prepare the official City Council and Trust Authority meeting minutes.
Archive in record books all original ordinances and resolutions passed by the governing body.
Maintain official documents, including city contracts, deeds, and easements.
Attest and affix the seal of the City to all documents as required by law or by ordinance.
Issue business licenses and registrations as required by ordinance.
